So Kiki, how do I get into CRNA school when there are so many applicants and there are not a lot of seats?
Well, you know what, that is the same thing I was asking myself many years ago. How am I gonna get into CRNA school? And eventually, I figured it out as a result. This here is the five-step Get Accepted Now system that I use and so many other ICU nurses have used, and not only used but got accepted on the first try.
That’s right. I said on the first try, not the second, not the third. Now, if you log into any one of our programs, you will automatically see that this is the foundation of everything we do here at The CRNA Chase. So in today’s video, I’m gonna show you exactly what the Get Accepted Now system is all about.
Hi Future CRNAs, Kiki here. The best place for ICU Nurses looking to become multiple six-figure CRNAs. I know you’re thinking that there are a ton of applicants, and if it was that easy, then you would see everybody getting accepted. Well, hear me out on this. There are a ton of qualified ICU nurses out there who could apply for CRNA school and get accepted if there were enough seats.
Why is getting accepted so hard
What usually happens is they quit in the early stages or they just quit after maybe a couple of rejections. That’s pretty much what happens. So real quick, if you’re finding value in anything I’ve said or anything that resonates with you, definitely hit that subscribe button so you can be notified of any future videos.
Now after being rejected twice, quitting for a number of years. And then saying, you know what? I’m going to try one more time. Now, if you’re not familiar with my story, or my backstory, definitely go back to the last video where I actually told you why I left bedside nursing and how I became a CRNA. Now, if you’ve experienced any of those things that I just said, this video is definitely for you.
Reasons why you need a plan
So after those couple of rejections, and quitting, I put together a foolproof plan, my Get Accepted Now system. But first I wanted to tell you why I put together this plan. I put together this plan to get accepted for a number of reasons.
- #1- I did not want to feel that type of pain from that rejection ever again. Even though looking back on it now, I know that it wasn’t so much failure. It was just a process. It was just part of the journey.
- #2- I also knew that becoming a CRNA was my purpose. It’s all I ever thought about, dreamed about. I mean, it actually was everything to me. It’s kind of like I could not fully breathe until I became a CRNA. So becoming a CRNA was my purpose in life.
- #3- I felt like I was not the most competitive CRNA school applicant. Therefore, I needed to do something to showcase my true potential and that would allow me to stand out in front of all these other applicants. Now to make things super simple and organized for you.
I’m actually splitting this video up into five steps, which will keep it really easy to follow. So let’s get into it.
5 steps to CRNA school acceptance
All right. All right. This is to the Get Accepted Now system, right? And so I’m gonna give you the 30,000-foot view of what the Get Accepted Now system is all about.
Assess your current reality
First, you want to take an assessment of your current reality. So what does your experience look like? What’s your skillset look like? And not only that, what is your current mindset? Because we already know your mindset is first and foremost.
If you don’t come into it with the right mindset, that can derail everything you’re trying to do because your mindset is probably, in my opinion, one of the most important things that need to be checked before you even start.
Research shows that your mindset plays a critical role in your life. I’m gonna say that again. Research shows that your mindset plays a critical role in your life. So by understanding, adapting, and shifting your mindset, you automatically improve your health. You also decrease your stress and then you become resilient to life’s challenges.
And we already know becoming a CRNA is going to be challenging, right? Everything about it is challenging. So the great thing is, we all can change our mindset. So starting today, I want you to challenge your limiting beliefs, those limiting beliefs that are negative, that are holding you back from living in your purpose starting today.
Challenge those negative limiting beliefs. Face your fears. Go after what you want, and shift your perspective.
Showcase your true potential
Number two, you want to showcase your true potential. So here you’re looking at your skill set, you’re looking at your experience, all your accomplishments. And guys you already know as nurses, we do not like to talk about ourselves.
We do not give ourselves credit. Whenever somebody says, like, Kiki, you did a great job. I’m like, oh, I did. We need to stop that. It’s like we don’t want the praise or embellishment on us, right? And so we need to shift that thinking too.
Find the right school
Number three, you need to find your best-fit school because every CRNA school is not gonna be for you, unfortunately.
And that was what I was doing. I was applying to any and every school, and that was the wrong way to look at it. You actually need to apply to those schools in which you have the best chance of being accepted. This will in turn give you an edge over the other applicants, and then you’ll actually be one of the top applicants instead of at the bottom.
Write compelling application material
Number four is to apply with confidence. You do this by creating a compelling application, right? So your cv, your personal statement, should be compelling. It should be captivating. It should also be a reflection of who you are. And also show your personality. So within our programs, we also talk about the letter of recommendation system.
Now, this also means you need to tailor your application material to the school that you’re applying to. So you don’t want to submit a generic CV or generic personal statement. When you apply to these schools, you definitely wanna put in the work and do the research on these schools and tailor your application material to that school.
Kill your interview
So number five is get your acceptance and this basically just means you’re gonna go in and you’re gonna kill your interview, and the admissions committee is gonna fall in love with you in person, and they’re gonna want you in their program. That’s pretty much all that means is go in, do what you have to do, and you do that by prepping for the interview, making sure you can answer those tough interview questions, and just being prepared for whatever comes your way on interview day.
So once you go on the interview and you kill the interview and they love what they see, you are well on your way to being a future CRNA. So I just laid out the five steps to the Get Accepted Now System. This is how I got into CRNA school and so many other people that I’ve helped, I just laid ’em out for you.
Bottom line
They’re there. The same five steps that I use as a foundation for everything within The CRNA Chase. Just telling you right now, I did not get accepted to CRNA school until I became intentional with my steps and those steps included just a plan that would automatically increase my chances of getting accepted.
Now if you’re an ICU nurse and you’re ready to apply to CRNA school within the next year, definitely think about these five steps right here. This could be the difference between you applying to a couple of schools versus you applying to 10 and never ever getting accepted.
So I invite you to apply for the CRNA school intensive. In this intensive program, we will develop your strategic plan. We’re gonna create your application material together, so your cv, your personal statement, and definitely looking at your letters or recommendation because we again, don’t want just anybody doing your letter or recommendation.
